Abstract:This paper aims to find out what construction industry should do to achieve the government's goal in a low-carbon way. At this stage, low-carbon building market is lack of effective support of policy, economy, technology, and so on, and the condition of market operation needs to be improved. This paper analyses the status quo in China and foreign countries, explains the roads of the development and promotion of low-carbon building, and sets up the new market operation mode of low-carbon building. Suggestions in this study can be referenced by the government and enterprises for policy and decision making.
