Abstract:To simulate the infrared characteristics of typical target, we analyzed the infrared radiation transmission characteristics of typical target of 8 similar to 14 mu m, built the infrared radiation model, the atmospheric transmission model and the infrared image representation model, and developed an infrared texture generation software based on the model. We used new simulation platform, Unity 3D, to simulate the infrared image of the glass under different temperature, then collected real infrared images of the glass of the same temperature relatively, and compared the simulated images with the real images to verify the reliability of the model. Finally, we chose the US M1 Abrams main battle tank as a typical target and established an infrared simulated scene. The simulated result shows that the simulation model is working pretty well, with little costs and easily applied to practice situations, which means it has important significance and applied value in engineering practice.
