This kernel was runned on the platform of TOSHIBA 815 microprocessor and used in the mobile PDA products. Abstract:Taking advantages of the modular nature of Linux, a set of Linux modules were improved to make Linux run on various SoC. The module improvement was including: developing a target-specific bootloader, designing a memory management module for the MMU-less processor, real-time improvement in scheduling module and organizing a small footprint file system for the flash memory. These modules can be reassembled on demands, catering for different boards and applications. Moreover, methods for developing embedded Linux are concluded, including tool chains and debug techniques. Case studies on two hardware platforms, based on ARM720T and M68K respectively, shown that the work satisfies application requirements.

Abstract:Teach system is widely used in welding robot,Users control robot to weld by Teach system.So,the practicability of welding robot depends on function and interface of teach system.Design and realization of Software of teach system which based on the real-time KernelμC/OS-Ⅱ is introduced.The system includes operating system、GUI interface and network communication.It first introduces the main modules,then functional planning and development of teaching box,and design of interface based on GUI is dealt with.At last,realization of the communication between the teaching system and the host controller based on LwIP are specified in detail.Now,development and test has been done,industrialization is carried on.After test and preliminary use of the system,it was proved that the teach system had characteristics of nice interface,comprehensive functions,practicability,and it can satisfy expected requirements of industry.

Abstract:This paper distinguishes the differences between dynamic and static operating system from the design target, and discusses the resulting different technologies used when system is implemented. Based on this theory, according to ISO17356 OS specification and using the hardware abstraction layer idea, a simple and efficient static real-time operating system is implemented for ARM architecture, and the kernel contains no more than 3000 lines C codes. With the idea of separating mechanisms and strategies, the internal resources are used as a mechanism to implement different scheduling policies; proposes a priority-based packet scheduling algorithm, which achieves a good performance both in time and space. A standard millitary data bus MIL-STD-1553B was used as external interface. The software was based on VxWorks, a realtime operation system (RTOS). Abstract:In terms of the design of Traditional Embedded Real-time Operating System(ERTOS),the authors make use of the integration and big Kernel structure,which has the limitation in some aspects,such as the retractable,portable,supportable for hardware platform with new structure and open for interface standard and so on.Based on the analysis of RTOS,a sort of design model of embedded multitasking real-time operating system is proposed.First,the hardware(abstract) layer and operating system kernel are studied.Then,the highly scalable,real-time,transplantable and application programming preface design of ERTOS are presented.This design model takes use of the hardware Bard Support Package(BSP) to support the transplanting in sorts of OEM board or hardware system board,therefore solves the questions in traditional system,and last meets the current need for ERTOS.

Abstract:Based on some thorough analysis of OSEK/VDX specification,this paper presents how to design an 8 bit OSEK/VDX-based Real-time Operating System(RTOS)——FDOSEK from the task schedule,resource management and event mechanism,and then realizes its kernel on the MC9S08DZ60 chip of Freescale.It tests the task schedule time and storage requirements.Test results show that FDOSEK is suitable for automotive electronics industry with a strong real-time capability and low storage requirements.

Abstract:For the image processing system which consists of multiple DSPs-ADSP21060, an embedded system software based on the micro-kernel provided by Virtuso 4.2 is designed. The implementation of the task schedule, resources management, parallel processing, interrupt acknowledgment and data communication in the system is described in this paper. In terms of some image processing algorithms, the performance of the system is tested. It showed that the system software proposed is easy to realize and develop. It is also steady and reliable and therefore this approach is suggested to be used widely in the image processing system.

Abstract:Based on the idea of layered architecture, an embedded operating system for real-time image processing constructed with ADSP14060 is designed and realized, with the characters of small size, portability and scalability. This system includes not only the functions of task management, resource management and intertask communication on chip, but also the function of intertask communication between chips. The experimental result shows that this system runs with high real-time and strong robusticity and obtains satisfactory effects on parallel image processing.

Abstract:New embedded applications need self-configure and customized operating systems,to meet the requirement of specific application and different applying fields. By cutting off the unnecessary parts of the system, it reaches high- er performance and requires low consumption of the system. Software component technology is a technique for de- signing and encapsulating aimed at reuse. It is the foundation of the configuration and management of an operating system. Suppose the design method of the componentized configurable real-time embedded operating system based on the study of contemporary real-time embedded operating system and component technology: defining system function, defining interface, configuration process. It also includes the devise of the configurable real-time embedded operating system. The prototype system is proven to be configured and easy to be customized. Last but not least,it provides the obligatory characteristics of the real-time embedded operating system.

Abstract:Real-time system and the finite state theory were introduced into the study of control software for electrically controlled engine, function modules were managed and scheduled by the real-time system according to the engine operating points. The priority-based scheduler made better use of resources, and allowed all events to be handled as quickly and efficiently as possible. V-development platform was achieved: function modules were implemented by Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow, and program code were made by TargetLink, which cut down debug phase, development period and costs.
