Abstract:Angle sensors have brought great benefits in human health detection and rehabilitation training. However, the traditional angle sensor can only obtain the detection result through the data line. In addition, the characteristics of poor flexibility and susceptibility to corrosion and oxidation of metal sensors will affect the accuracy of the measurement results. In this work, we proposed a wireless wearable angle sensor based on flexible graphene film microstrip antenna and investigated its performances. The flexible graphene film with the thickness of 26 µm has high conductivity of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$1.1\times 10^{6}\ \mathrm{S}/\mathrm{m}$</tex> and low density of 1.45 g/cm 3 . The graphene sensor has a good frequency response to the bending angle. As the bending angle increases, the resonant frequency of the sensor gradually decreases, and there is a positive linear relationship. When the graphene sensor is wore on the human body, the test results conform to the linear relationship between the bending angle and the frequency response. Moreover, the graphene sensor has radiation capabilities, which can conveniently transmit detection information wirelessly. All results prove that the proposed graphene sensor is suitable for human wearable devices for health detection applications.
