Abstract:The invention discloses spherical titanium-iron-carbon series reaction spraying composite powder and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of ceramic materials. The spherical titanium-iron-carbon series reaction spraying composite powder and the preparation method thereof can be used for preparing a metal ceramic composite coating layer excellent in abrasion resistance. Ferrotitanium powder, sucrose and graphite are used as raw materials, and through the atomization pelleting/precursor carbonizing composite technology, the spherical titanium-iron-carbon series reaction spraying composite powder with the carbon obtained through sucrose carbonizing as a binding agent. The technological process of the spherical titanium-iron-carbon series reaction spraying composite powder comprises the following steps that the ferrotitanium powder, the sucrose and the graphite are proportionally mixed and subjected to wet grinding; slurry used for atomization pelleting is prepared; the slurry is subjected to pelleting trough atomization pelleting equipment; atomization pelleting powder is subjected to precursor carbonizing; and screening is conducted. Through the spherical titanium-iron-carbon series reaction spraying composite powder and the preparation method thereof, the problems that existing reaction spraying composite powder is irregular in shape, poor in flowability and low in feeding efficiency during spraying are solved, the composite powder which is good in sphericity degree, good in flowability and uniform in size distribution is obtained by introducing the atomization pelleting technique, and the spherical titanium-iron-carbon series reaction spraying composite powder and the preparation method thereof are suitable for preparing a titanium carbide reinforced iron-based metal ceramic composite coating layer.
