Abstract:The invention discloses a method for preventing thievery of a mobile phone with a fingerprint device. The method includes steps of requesting a user to input fingerprint information after replacement of a SIM (subscriber identity module) card is detected; extracting fingerprint features from acquired fingerprint images and comparing the fingerprint features to preset fingerprint templates to authenticate identification of a subscriber; enabling the mobile phone to copy and encrypt file information of the subscriber if the user fails identification authentication, and transmitting the file information and the fingerprint images to a remote server in a background manner; transmitting a subscriber thievery preventing request to the subscriber after the remote server receives the subscriber thievery preventing request; enabling the subscriber to decrypt the received file information and the received fingerprint images which are transmitted from the remove server, and searching identification information of the user by the aid of the fingerprint images. The method has the advantages that the identification of the subscriber of the mobile phone is authenticated by the aid of fingerprints, the fingerprint images of the user, an IMSI (international mobile subscriber identity) number and mobile phone state and position information are acquired when the user fails the fingerprints authentication, the file information of the mobile phone is encrypted and copied, accordingly, leakage and loss of the important and private information of the subscriber can be prevented, and clue information for finding the mobile phone can be collected.
