Abstract:Since its successful inauguration in Beijing, August, 2012, the IEEE international Conference on Communications (ICCC) has been globally recognized as one of the important annual international conferences held by the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) and China Institute of Communications (CIC). IEEE/CIC ICCC'14, the third ICCC held in Shanghai, China, 13–15 October, 2014, continued to expand its influence and had attracted distinguished scholars, key researchers, young investigators and ambitious students from dozens of countries and regions. The technical program of ICCC 2014 features 4 world-class plenary keynote speeches, 8 technical symposia, 5 tutorials, 4 industrial and academic panels and 1 workshop, covering from decades-long hot topics such as MIMO, interference coordination, heterogeneous networks and etc., to recent eye-catchers such as big data and social networks. The conference not only provided a forum and seminar for active researchers from every directions of this academia, but also attracted delegates from the main players in the industry.

Abstract:The international conference on computation of electromagnetic fields, COMPUMAG, is one of the most important worldwide serial conferences in the area of computational electromagnetics. A survey of the 18th COMPUMAG conference held in Sydney from July 12 to 15, 2011, is given in this paper, in which the research subjects, the numbers of papers by the authors from different countries and regions are included. According to the situation of the academic exchange in the conference, the focuses and new trend in current researches of this area were analyzed, especially for the computation of industry problems and the computation in large scale. According to the information of scores, acceptance and comments for the two-page papers in the review process, a set of statistics was made. Based on the statistic data, the quantities and qualities of the papers by Chinese authors are analyzed. Besides, on the basis of the statistical data, the authors of this paper present their opinions on some inadequacies about the quality of the conference papers submitted by Chinese authors, and indicate the task that should be undertaken from now on.

Abstract:The printed proceedings of the EPMESC X includes 14 full papers of plenary and semi-plenary lectures, and approximately 166 one-page summaries, and the CD-ROM includes all 180 full papers presented at the conference. The CD-ROM needs to be run by Internet Explorer and Acrobat Reader. The series of EPMESC international conferences devoted to computational methods in engineering and science was created by a group of prominent scholars in the field: Prof. Arantes e Oliveira, Prof. Y. K. Cheung, Prof. T. Kawai and the late Prof. Luo Songfa. The first was held in Macao in 1985 and thereafter it was held alternately in Macao and a city in China. The conference title has evolved to "Enhancement and Promotion of Computational Methods in Engineering and Sciences". The conference has also grown from one attracting researchers from China and Europe, to attracting them from almost all continents. The tenth EPMESC international conference was held in August 21-23, 2006 in Sanya, Hainan Island of China.

Abstract:On behalf of the Technical Program Committee, we would like to welcome you to ACM MobiHoc 2015 in Hangzhou, China. ACM MobiHoc is the premier international symposium dedicated to addressing challenges emerging from wireless networking and computing. The highly selective technical program has traditionally brought together a unique blend of researchers and practitioners, thereby influencing the direction of a wide range of wireless networking research areas. We hope that you will find the conference intellectually stimulating. We are delighted to report that this year's program continues the tradition of excellence set by this conference over the years. We received 250 submissions, which has made it extremely challenging to select only 37 papers for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings. At such a selective acceptance rate (14.8%) many of the papers that we could not accept are of high quality and we are certain that many of them will appear in the near future at other top-tier conferences. The paper selection process was handled by the Technical Program Committee (TPC). The TPC included 65 excellent members with expertise spanning all the major areas relevant to the conference scope. In particular, the TPC was composed of members from 16 countries and included 11 members from research labs and industry. The 250 submitted papers went through a first phase of reviews followed by a very active online discussion phase. Then, several papers went through a second review phase. The reviews were provided by the TPC members and, when needed, a few reviews were provided by external expert reviewers. At the end of this process and based on the results of the online discussion, 12 papers were accepted and 46 papers were further discussed at the TPC meeting that was held on Feb. 28, 2015 at Columbia University in New York. Following the discussions at the meeting, 25 additional papers were accepted. Ten of the accepted papers were assigned shepherds who volunteered to assist the authors during the process of preparing the final version. The work of the TPC was outstanding and we thank all the members for the time and efforts they dedicated to the paper selection process and to attending the meeting. These efforts make this wonderful conference possible. We are pleased with the strong technical program of the conference, represented by the papers in these proceedings. The conference program covers a wide range of topics, including routing, scheduling, algorithms, performance evaluation, dynamic spectrum access, cellular networks, sensor networks, mobile applications and crowdsensing, security, and wireless systems. This year's program is preceded by a set of seven workshops. It continues the tradition of having keynote talks from outstanding leaders in the field, and it includes a poster/demo session. The keynote speakers are Prof. Ness B. Shroff, the Ohio Eminent Scholar in Networking and Communications at The Ohio State University, Prof. Wen Gao, Vice President of the NSF of China, and Prof. Andrea Goldsmith, the Stephen Harris Professor in the School of Engineering, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University.

Abstract:This paper gives a summary of the organization and the presentations delivered at the 10th Conference on Magnetically Confined Fusion Theory and Simulation（CMCFTS） held in Zhuhai, China, from 28th to 31st October 2022. The conference focused on the latest progress in the research of the magnetic confined fusion plasma theory and simulations, as well as the largescale numerical simulation techniques developed in recent years. This conference is held both online and offline, with about 110 domestic participants from 18 institutes participating in the live conference, and the statistical data from the live broadcast platform indicated that the online conference attracted over 20 000 views per day. A summary of the conference is given, and the history of the CMCFTS is presented. A brief introduction to the poster section is also included in this paper.

Abstract:Bringing the global cardiovascular community together in ChinaThe 32nd Great Wall International Congress of Cardiology (GW-ICC) in China brought together a growing number of cardiologists, cardiovascular researchers, and doctors; a reunion and 'veritable feast' of research and learning, as well as an indispensable opportunity for Chinese cardiologists to communicate with overseas colleagues. 1 Over the years, the popularity of the event has risen, notably with the 2019 conference where participants reached a historically-high of 22 700 attendees, with 2.33 million online learners and >150 hospitals participating in the surgical broadcasts.Professor Zuyi Yuan from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University said: 'In terms of the scale of participation, GW-ICC has become one of the world's most influential cardiovascular conferences.In the past 32 years, the participants of GW-ICC have expanded from doctors of Tier III hospitals to those of Tier II hospitals.In recent years, more and more doctors from county hospitals or community hospitals have started to attend GW-ICC, demonstrating an extended and deepening influence of GW-ICC in China' (Figure 1).Held from 27 to 31 October, the 32nd Great Wall Cardiology Congress and Asian Cardiology Congress (ACC) 2021 (referred to as the 'Great Wall Congress'), presented a unique cardiovascular academic feast with internet cloud broadcasting, and achieving new breakthroughs in the scale, content setting, participation, influence, and other aspects.It included 34 academic live channels, 12 h of academic live broadcast every day, a total of 2609 lectures, with 2259 domestic and foreign experts delivering academic reports.

Abstract:2021 2ND International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks and Communications were successfully held online from 28th to 29th October 2021, Hefei, China. The conference was jointly organized and sponsored by Shaanxi Juxing Exhibition Co., Ltd and Juneng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Called by Dr. Tao Wang from School of Data Science and Computer, Sun Yat-Sen University and researcher Shuanghua Yang from the Engineering College, Southern University of Science and Technology, the conference invited scholars and experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer networks and communications from various universities to participate in the review and guidance of this conference. The conference focuses on the latest research fields such as “artificial intelligence”, “computer networks” and “Communications”, and aims to provide an international cooperation and exchange platform for experts, scholars and business managers in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer networks and communications application to share their research achievements, discuss the key challenges and research directions of the development of this field, and jointly promote the industrialization cooperation and continuous innovation of international academic achievements. This collection of Proceedings compiles oral and paper presentations submitted by the authors and scrutinized by the Special Committee. The conference was scheduled to be held on October 28-29, 2021 at The Westin Hefei Wanda Hotel, Hefei, Anhui, China. In view of travel restrictions and indoor activities related to COVID-19, we were forced to move the conference online. Attendees were notified one month in advance that the on-site conference was changed to an online conference, and the time and order of the conference were determined. The online conference was held on the video conferencing software Tencent Meeting. The video conference was held on the original date, but due to the large number of attendees, we extended the Meeting for 2 days. Due to the wide coverage of this conference and the large number of attendees, we divided the conference into main venue and sub-venue. The opening ceremony was held in the main venue and a speech was delivered by the invited speaker. After the main venue, we divided the invited 53 authors into 2 groups. Each author spoke for about 10-15 minutes on detailed material in the slides, with the same amount of time set aside for questions and discussion. The format of questioning and discussion was that after each author’s introduction, the conference chairman and committee members asked and answered questions. At least one attendee could ask questions that will be answered by the speaker. This conference has brought together many excellent works and the latest ideas and concepts. New ideas have been provided in the fields of information technology and mechanical engineering applications. For this, we have set up three awards, which were won by six authors. Due to the large number of attendees and the instability of the video conference software, we edited and retained part of the conference speech pictures and videos after the video conference. We put some screenshots of the conference on the official website for display. Although most attendees expressed regret that we had not been able to have the informal face-to-face discussions that usually take place between conferences, the virtual conferences had been surprisingly successful. The organizing and editorial committee of the AICNC 2021 hopes you enjoy the reading of this volume of the JPCS. Besides, we wish to thank all authors and participants for providing their valuable contributions for this proceeding as well as the reviewers for their constructive recommendations and criticism aiding to improve the presented articles. Likewise, we are confident that this issue will serve as a reference for experts, scholars and enterprise managers in the fields of the artificial intelligence, computer networks and communications.
