Method of seamless home agent switching of mobile IPv6

Abstract:The invention relates to the switching method of mobile IPv6 communication network to reduce switching interrupt time, decrease the data package losing probability and lightening the burthen of home agency. Mobile station physically accesses to the terminal in single or plural mode, checking the link condition and gets the network switching trigging. The mobile station sends switching message to the current connected router with the connection condition message of the new connected router. And the current connected router returns the network massage to the new connected router. Then, the mobile station starts to switch the mobile IPv6 network layer before switching of the link layer. The communication terminal sends the data, which is sent to the mobile station, directly to the newly switching address of the mobile station. In order to reduce the switching data package, the data, which sends to the mobile station before the connection is established to the newly connecting router, needs to be stored, and can be send after the connection has been established. In order to reduce the burthen of the home agency, the home agency only manages the place that the station located. The communication between communication terminal and mobile station would be established by checking the location of the mobile station by the home agency.
