Abstract:This text bases on ASP.NET technology and SQL Server 2000 database,and exploits MIS(Management Information System)based on B/S structure for graduate student three-help working.This system adopts Windows2003 Server and ASP.NET platform,and regards VB.NET as the programming language.This text first introduces the background question of exploiting environment and setting up this system,further analyzes the relation of authority assignment and function module for users of this system and finishes the design realization of this system,finally introduces the operation and debugging situation of this system.Applying MIS(Management Information System) to three-help working can realize the management objectiveses swiftly and high-efficiently.

Abstract:Recent Information Systems (IS) publications reveal an emerging interest in studying post-acceptance system usage behaviors. This paper extends the exploitation versus exploration construct to define a new typology of post-acceptance usage behaviors and defines ambidexterity as the capacity to simultaneously achieve exploitative usage and explorative usage. This study examines the relation between exploitation and exploration in IS usage and how the two types of usages can jointly influence individual performance in the post-acceptance stage. Based on a sample of 215 employees, this study finds that exploitative usage and explorative usage have different effects on individual performance, and shows that the interaction between exploitative usage and explorative usage is positively related to individual performance.

Abstract:Experimental computer systems research typically ignores the end-user, modeling him, if at all, in overly simple ways. We argue that this (1) results in inadequate performance evaluation of the systems, and (2) ignores opportunities. We summarize our experiences with (a) directly evaluating user satisfaction and (b) incorporating user feedback in different areas of client/server computing, and use our experiences to motivate principles for that domain. Specifically, we report on user studies to measure user satisfaction with resource borrowing and with different clock frequencies in desktop computing, the development and evaluation of user interfaces to integrate user feedback into scheduling and clock frequency decisions in this context, and results in predicting user action and system response in a remote display system. We also present initial results on extending our work to user control of scheduling and mapping of virtual machines in a virtualization-based distributed computing environment. We then generalize (a) and (b) as recommendations for incorporating the user into experimental computer systems research.

Abstract:Post adoptive IT use is an important research topic in information systems field, mainly including sustained behaviours and switching behaviours. While there are a great number of studies on users’ continuance intentions for diversified IT, users’ IT switching behaviours are less studied. This research attempts to identify the features of users IT switching behaviours. We introduce a migration theory from social network perspective to explore the intrinsic and extrinsic factors influencing users’ switching intention in the context of mobile instant messaging (MIM) application. In particular, we develop a model that examines the role of networks, deprivations and trusts on MIM users’ switching intentions to WeChat in China. A survey research method is utilized to test this model and hypotheses. We found that functional deprivation, monetary deprivation and personal innovativeness could positively influence users’ switching intentions. Networks of obligation was found to have no significantly direct influence on switching intentions, but fully mediated by functional and monetary deprivations. However, trust transferred from MIMs provider has no significant effect on switching intentions. The findings are believed to theoretically contribute to further understand users’ IT switching behaviours and yield some practical implications for designers and managers in MIM providers and their products propaganda.

This paper analyses the relevant theories of Digital Mine and the methods on how to develop the software system of Digital Mine, and puts forward several strategies which can effectively construct the system. These strategies include proprietary data model and data structure for mines, dynamic-expansive system frame and some key technologies such as the self-extended standard technology, etc. The research achievements break through the routine implement methods of Digital Mine software system, and very helpful to the complex Digital Mine.

Abstract:The necessity of developing enterprise-modeling system based on Internet/Intranet is emphasized in this paper. Aiming at the goal of this system , on the base of analyzing the characteristics of two typical developing tools, Java and C++, a plan of selecting developing tools is described. Then, A plan for solving the difficulty problem in system developing, the interface between Java and C++, is explained by the author through an example. Finally, the shortcoming in this solving plan is discussed.

How to Understand Post-Acceptance Information System Usage Behaviors: Pespective from is Success Model.

Abstract:The impact of information systems (IS) on organizational performance has gained enormous attention from both academics and practitioners. However, it is the post-acceptance IS use that actually help fully realize the IS potential. We identified three types of IS usage behaviors -routine use (RU), extended use (EU) and innovative use (IU), which can coexist in the post-acceptance stage and help with the work. Drawing on the IS success model, we proposed a research model with IS characteristics as external variables toward perceived usefulness (PU) and satisfaction to explain RU, EU and IU in respective. The relationships among three dimensions of IS characteristics -information quality, system quality and service quality were discussed further. As RU, EU and IU reflect various extent of IS use, we suggested that they are linked. Then the model was tested by a survey of 240 ERP system users. The results provided evidence that information quality and service quality influence PU and user satisfaction via system quality, and IS success model was a good basis for understanding RU, EU and IU. We also found that RU had a positive impact directly on EU but indirectly on IU via EU. This study helps bridge the gap between IS characteristics and prediction of different types of post-acceptance IS usage behaviors.

Abstract:In the age of the Internet, how to integrate virtual online behavior and real-world offline activity is a key issue in enterprise operations management, and Online-to-Offline (O2O) strategy is a hotly debated method to solve relevant problems. Taking advertisement industry for a case study, issues concerning management information systems (MIS) based on Online-to-Offline strategy are studied and analyzed, which can meet clients' personalized requirements in multidimensional degrees such as time, location, media, manner, and cost. O2O MIS can optimize advertising resources configuration, and by integration and synchronization of digital network resource fragments, the proposed O2O MIS has promising potential in the coming future.

Our exploration together with Carl along the road involves many models and methods that help better understand users' needs, desires and intentions, specify clearer system requirements and know-how, describe simpler service interface to find a match between requests and capabilities. There are implicit relations between these research topics, namely, building smarter software systems that can adapt to the needs and intentions of users, as well as the concrete operational context and environment. This paper may look retro-futurism in a sense, as we are looking forward to fulfillment the early AI and SE visions, by reviewing viable fundamental software requirements engineering principles and service system thinking methods, and at the same time by making sense of the on-going development of smart applications with the latest intelligent computing technologies.

Abstract:Studying the behavior of users in software systems has become an essential task for software vendors who want to mitigate usability problems and identify automation potentials, or for researchers who want to test behavioral theories. One approach to studying user behavior in a data-driven way is through the analysis of so-called user interaction (UI) logs, which record the low-level activities that a user performs while executing a task. In the paper, the authors refer to the analysis of UI logs as User Behavior Mining (UBM) and position it as a research topic. UBM is conceptualized by means of a four-component framework that elaborates how UBM data can be captured, which technologies can be applied to analyze it, which objectives UBM can accomplish, and how theories can guide the analytical process. The applicability of the framework is demonstrated by three exemplary applications from an ongoing research project with a partner company. Finally, the paper discusses practical challenges to UBM and derives an agenda for potential future research directions.

Deployment in a complex environment involving sensitive, massive and heterogeneous data generates risks with legal, social and financial impacts. This context of transition and openness makes the security of these IS central to the concerns of organizations. The digitization of all processes and the opening to IoT devices (Internet of Things) has fostered the emergence of a new formof crime, i.e. cybercrime.This generic term covers a number of malicious acts, the majority of which are now perpetrated using social engineering strategies, a phenomenon enabling a combined exploitation of ``human'' vulnerabilities and digital tools. Abstract:[Context] Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) comprises a set of models and techniques that is often suggested as solution to cope with the challenges of engineering complex systems. Although many practitioners agree with the arguments on the potential benefits of the techniques, companies struggle with the adoption of MBSE. [Goal] In this paper, we investigate the forces that prevent or impede the adoption of MBSE in companies that develop embedded software systems. We contrast the hindering forces with issues and challenges that drive these companies towards introducing MBSE. [Method] Our results are based on 20 interviews with experts from 10 companies. Through exploratory research, we analyze the results by means of thematic coding. [Results] Forces that prevent MBSE adoption mainly relate to immature tooling, uncertainty about the return-on-investment, and fears on migrating existing data and processes. On the other hand, MBSE adoption also has strong drivers and participants have high expectations mainly with respect to managing complexity, adhering to new regulations, and reducing costs. [Conclusions] We conclude that bad experiences and frustration about MBSE adoption originate from false or too high expectations. Nevertheless, companies should not underestimate the necessary efforts for convincing employees and addressing their anxiety.
