Design and Implementation of Monitored Control Model Web-based for Embedded Devices

Abstract:A monitored control model Web-based for embedded devices is presented to realize the online remote supervision, management, and maintenance embedded devices using a standard Web browser over Internet. A thin TCP/IP stack, which provides the network interface for embedded devices and makes them can be connected to Internet, is implemented because of the limited resources and computing power of embedded devices. The embedded device gateway performs format conversion between TCP/IP messages and monitor instructions of embedded devices, and therefore remote users can transparently access devices over Internet. The networking and intelligent management of embedded devices can be really implemented. The performance experiment results show that the model can meet the most of network application demands and will decrease systemrunning cost and improve maintaining efficiency.
