Abstract:This paper aims at the problem of passive service of digital library and the services can't be distinct to different users. It proposes a service model for individual digital library, and then analyses this model. Key problems on technology and the plan to solve them are discussed.

Abstract:In recent years,digital publishing share in the information society more and more,readers of the growing demand for personalized service strong traditional culture,publishing services are currently unable to meet this demand,especially for the digital home needs.For family-oriented,personalized digital publishing needs,this paper uses the method of multi-dimensional indexing metadata tissue,data mining,knowledge classification management,natural language as the three dimensions of the dynamic association to create a database;mechanical matching personalized method of data retrieval,and can take the initiative to push;through the reorganization of the publishing and content transcoding method,the layout can keep the original format of the EPUB format document;using digital watermarking and digital encryption to protect the method of combining the author's legitimate interests.In this article based on the development of family-oriented personal digital publishing services system,in practice,demonstrate the practicality of this technology.

Abstract:In order to solve the library's demand for computer network technology, a research on the library's personal system service is proposed. A library-based self-service model was originally designed and developed. The system is developed from six aspects: resource association analysis and mining, reading interest analysis, data collection, personal service, personal service scheduling, and data warehouse. Secondly, it shows that this study has done some research on library application itself and completed some research. Finally, libraries can accomplish personal services in a variety of ways, such as distributing modifications, smart administrators, vertical portals, pushers, and more. In foreign libraries and universities represented by North Carolina State University and the Data and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the construction of personal data in digital libraries has become an important part of future development. According to the law, 57.9% and 65.0% of users ranked search engines as second only to e-mail in the China Internet Improvement Data released by the China Internet Network Information Center in 2000 and 2005, respectively.

Abstract:With the rapid growth of data, two major challenges are taking place in digital library technologies. One is the transition from database to Data Ocean; the other is the transition from digital library to Smart Library. In order to address these challenges, we propose a scalable, adaptive, self-management, fault-tolerant architecture for various services in the digital library. Users can deploy services quite easily on the architecture, and it also enables the deployed services load balancing, scalable, adaptive and fault-tolerant. The practice in CADAL demonstrates the feasibility and efficiency of our architecture.

Abstract:In this paper, as a solution to the problem of Information overload in digital library, we present our research on building TH-PASS - a personalized active service system. TH-PASS is able to provide the users personalized filtering and active notification service based on user modeling and user pattern learning/discovering. The system's performance is improved. by making use of relevance measure of multiple features including query keywords, term, citation vectors, and user action parameters. The framework of TH-PASS is proposed, and the user model and profile learning are discussed.

Abstract:In order to solve the conformity of personalized services with legacy systems, we design and implement a personalized digital library framework based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). In this paper, we introduce the framework development as following: Analyzing current systems and their workflow with SOA design pattern, and extracting needed personalized service interface; implement the Enterprise components and data interface of those service interface according to SOA standard, composing the service components according to workflow, so that to build up the whole framework.

Abstract:Abstract In the big data environment, we develop personalized information of college libraries based on big data from three aspects: the overall architecture of the system model, the functional model of the system, and the design of system interface modules according to the design principles and requirements of the personalized information service system of the university library Service system design. In terms of the functional design of the platform, the service platform is divided into four levels: accurate identification of user needs based on big data, personalized customized services based on artificial intelligence, academic research and discussion space based on integrated media, and fine-grained subject resource aggregation based on knowledge. On this basis, a centralized model of individualized services of university libraries including internal and external personnel, information resources, technology, services, processes, platforms, and environment has been constructed.

Abstract:Personalized service systems are an effective way to help users obtain recommendations for unseen items, within the enormous volume of information available based on their preferences. The most commonly used personalized service system methods are collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid filtering. Unfortunately, each method has its drawbacks. This paper proposes a new method which unified partition-based collaborative filtering and meta-information filtering. In partition-based collaborative filtering the user-item rating matrix can be partitioned into low-dimensional dense matrices using a matrix clustering algorithm. Recommendations are generated based on these low-dimensional matrices. Additionally, the very low ratings problem can be solved using meta-information filtering. The unified method is applied to a digital resource management system. The experimental results show the high efficiency and good performance of the new approach.

Abstract:With the widespread application of big data, library services play an important role in college education and talent training, but there are also some problems. This article mainly explores the service mode of university libraries under the current big data background. First, it discusses the current situation and shortcomings of library services in the big database environment from the perspectives of document retrieval and information resource management; finally, a new service model for university readers based on the era of big data is proposed: establishing a library service quality management platform and using big data technology to improve personalized service. In addition, this article investigates the specific situation of the library service quality of a university through experiments, analyzes the reader’s evaluation of various aspects of library services, analyzes the qualification and excellence of library services, and finds that the service quality of the library is at a low level, and it is urgent to improve the service level.
