Abstract:The novel place of the method of economic analysis of l aw lies in the substitution the method of economic analysis to traditional legal method. Though research styles are different for method of economic analysis of law and Marxist economic method, they are consistent on the values. As a kind o f powerful analysis tool, the economic method has already produced epoch- makin g revolutionary influence on a great deal of fields, such as science of law, pol itical science, etc, has irreplaceable advantages. But the method of economic an alysis of law exists insufficient too, it can not at all substitute the traditio nal legal method either. The economic analysis of law has vast capacity and deve lopment potentiality. The development of economic analysis of law may pay attent ion to the diversification of value even more, pay close attention to the dynami c legal evolution even more.

Abstract:Based on experiments research evidences and theoretical logic, this paper tries to rethink the pure self-interest assumption in economics and discuss how to deal with the problem of pure self-interest assumption in economics (studying). The paper point out that: the dualism of economics (study) methodology should be recognized, and economic theory should be dividend into standard economic theory and descriptive economic theory. Standard economic theory only needs to hold the pure self-interest assumption and the descriptive economic theory often needs to consider the social preferences such as moral and norm. This paper also addresses the basic of knowledge tradition of these partitions, and its important value for some academic disputations and realistic problems.

Abstract:The mainstream modern economics is keen on copying the way of thinking and methodology of research in natural science.This strong tendency of methodology-oriented instead of problem-oriented methodology is a fatal mistake.For one thing,compared with natural science,economics is less quantitative by nature;for another,excessive application of deduction through mathematic formula may result in the consequence of replacement of analyses based on economic theories.However,a majority of the economists assume an indifferent attitude towards this situation.Some even go the extreme of ridiculing people who reflect on this wrong tendency as being unable to analyze.As a matter of fact,the property of economics as a discipline differs from that of natural science.The research subject of economics is the nature behind social phenomena and their interactive mechanism.Obviously,very often no conclusion can be drawn to be universally applied.For the same reason,economic theories cannot be evaluated by consistency of formal logic.On the contrary,the development of economic theory depends on the researcher's knowledge scope and humane care.

Abstract:Psychological contributions to behavioral economics in the past mainly come from the area of cognitive psychology that focusing on studying of human judgment errors and heuristics.In fact,social psychology is even more relevant to economics.The social psychological concepts of motivation,information processing,formation and change of attitude,impression,promise,cognitive dissonance,regret,social relation,value,and culture are intrinsic parts of economic behaviors,while economic concepts of value,utility,choice,propriety right,sunk cost,opportunity cost,trade,life quality,and game theory are all psychological in nature.Although,in many cases,people often make irrational decision and judgments,and consistently departure from the rules and principles of science and rational principles,but they are results of social and cultural influence.Hence,the economic theories could benefit from the new connections between social psychology and economics as well as the mounting evidence that economic man assumptions may be subject to social cultural constraints.

Abstract:The term “information” exhibits notable differences in its usage in different genres. In the field of Philosophy of Information, information serves as a primary object of study, while in Economics, information is considered as a research tool. In the process of resource allocation, information functions as an intermediary that connects different entities, and in the study of allocation, information serves as a medium to understand the objective world. In Economics, information is interpreted as “uncertainty eliminated”. The “uncertainty” in economic activities and economic relationships is explicated based on the determined information, and thus, the retrospection of economic information creates predictability. Conversely, from the perspective of the Philosophy of Information, information possesses both determinacy and indeterminacy, and its existence emerges from chaos. In comparison to the understanding of the essence of information in the Philosophy of Information, Economics has relative limitations in comprehending information. This article attempts to reflect on economics from the perspective of the Philosophy of Information to provide a contrast and connection between the two fields.

Abstract:Economics is a social science. The theoretic study of social sciences is aimed at exposing the interior functioning mechanism of things. Therefore, the theoretic study of economics consists of four layors. The first layer is methodology, which is the philosophical and basic angle for researchers. The second is theory, which demands researchers to put forward better theories after studying existing theories.The third layer is expression, that is, the researcher needs to express and spread his ideas and conceptions.The last layer is practice, which tests his own and others'theories.Obviously, the main-stream economics highlighting setting up mathematical models focuses on expressive or analytical tools. While measurement economics is only a testing means, which is the lowest layer of theoretical study. In fact, measurement analysis can only lead to some rules with strict applying conditions instead of general rules. Futhermore, measurement analysis cannot prove or disprove a basic theory.

Abstract:At present,the research on the philosophical basis of the economic law is almost rare in China Episteme is the core terminology in Foucault's famous works,Words and Things.Philosophy and law science are all versed in the spirit of the times,although their discipline territory seem clearly delimited,the broad potential groundwater flows under the surface of irrelevances,there is common fundamental disciplinary grammatical rules among the different academic discourse.From the academic history,this article expounds the impacts of philosophic development on economic law in Germany,the home country of economic law,analyses the philosophic thought reflected in economic law.It argues that the vertical and horizontal reunification theory is the objective needs of mass production in the modern society,or the inevitable product of the modern market economy system,rather than that of plan or public ownership,as some scholars said.

Abstract:The basic purpose of economics is to increase social welfare of the nation,which relates not only to the issue of utilization of natural resources,but also to the social relationships between human beings.Accordingly,the research content of economics includes both ethics and engineering: they can complement each other,jointly constructing the theoretical framework for the whole body of economics.In fact,not only the relationship between economics and ethics can go back to ancient times,but also the mainstream economics,which focuses on the allocation of natural resources,can never get rid of concrete social relations.As a result,a wide range of knowledge is needed for the research of economics.Otherwise,it is virtually impossible to understand the concrete economic phenomena,nor put forward any reasonable policy suggestion.However,there is a widening gap between economic theory and practice since modern mainstream economics has been strictly confined to engineering,going to the extreme of adopting abstract analysis,and paying too much attention on mathematical training while neglecting the absorption of knowledge of other social sciences.

Abstract:The purpose of this essay is to review the state of economics as a discipline in light of how and to what extent ethical considerations and the precepts of moral philosophy affect the theory and application of economics. In its pursuit for purely ‘objective’ analyses and, thereby, attain the status of a science, modern neo-classical economics is constrained by self-imposed limitations in making value judgments about justice and fairness in a market economy. Adam Smith’s idea of “invisible hand” of the market driven by self-interested behaviour has sometimes been interpreted, wrongly, as a kind of market fundamentalism that ignores many failures and brutalities of the modern-day capitalism. While many ethical elements do go into economic policy analyses, these are still constrained by the discipline’s neglect of non-market activities and its tendency to undervalue the aspects of well-being which cannot be easily measured in monetary terms. This essay argues that economists may do better by improving their understanding of the complexity of human behaviour and the functioning of market institutions by embracing new ideas developed in other disciplines, such as neuroscience, experimental psychology and political sociology; they also need to allow more scope for ethical judgments in their choice of topics for inquiry, in their methodological approaches and in drawing policy conclusions. Without losing the analytical rigour, which is the hallmark of the discipline, economics needs to be broader in order to be better.
