Study on the Low Carbon Manufacturing Development of China in the Context of Climate Change

Abstract:Manufacturing industry is not only the main pillar of China?s economic development, but also the main battlefield of achieving low carbon emission reduction. In order to research and promote the develop-ment of low carbon manufacturing in China, the paper establishes the low carbon manufacturing evaluation index system. Combined with principal component analysis and analytic hierarchy process, the paper does some quantitative evaluation on China?s manufacturing low carbon development, including the low carbon economic development, low carbon technology development, low carbon environment development of the manufacturing industry and analyses their influence on the carbon emissions. At last, the paper puts forward some suggestions on low carbon development of the manufacturing industry.
