Autonomous Region Population Age Structure effects on Household Consumption in West of China:Based on the Empirical Research of Dynamic Panel Data Model

Abstract:Started from the life-cycle hypothesis ,this paper studies the relationship between the age structure of population and household consumption with dynamic panel analysis in the autonomous region west of China. This paper reaches the conclu-sion that there is an obvious positive effect on household consumption rate caused by elderly dependency coefficient and coef-ficient of raising children. The spending habit of household is relatively stable. After controlling the potential factors which af-fect household consumption, this paper gets almost stable.
