Abstract:Different from the mailing and telephone era,in the big data era the dynamic information data flow crosses the boundary of the public and private with the development of the Internet.Protection of the individual in-formation in the traditional sense is not confined to the privacy protection scope defined in the private law.Instead, it is expanding to the public law and social governance.As an innovative model of social governance,the big data platform is applied tremendously in the public security.The big involvement of the collection and usage of private information for the purpose of the public security may easily lead to the conflict between the public security protec-tion and privacy protection.To solve this problem,it is necessary to enhance the privacy protection in the process of the modernization of the social governance.
