The Criteria,Processes and Methods of Excellent Teachers Selection in Primary and Middle Schools at Home and Abroad

Abstract:Training and selection of excellent primary and middle schools teachers have a positive impact on students , schools and development of teachers’ structure .ln order to train excellent teachers ,China ,the United States ,Britain , Australia and other countries in the world make detailed evaluation criteria ,evaluation processes and other requirements for excellent teachers both institutionally and legally .Because of different forms of government and education policies , these standards and requirements are not the same .Through analysis of the different national excellent teacher selection criteria ,methods and processes , we suggest that China should improve the standards of teachers , establish national honor system for teachers , and set up a scientific , reasonable and fair system to select excellent teachers that can promote the development of high-quality teachers .
