Abstract:The origins of language have always been fascinating in the realm of linguistics.This paper falls into two parts: Part One analyses various hypotheses scientifically and makes clear their philosophical or linguistic value，Part Two finds out the weak points that undermine the modern approaches.On tracking down the origins of language，we do some basic think-ing over the essence of language.
