History, Reflection and Outlooks of the Dynamic Evolution of Long March Spirit:In Memorial of the 80th Anniversary of Long March Victory

Abstract:The social value of Long March spirits as a political ideology is closely related to the primary contradicts and main task of different times. According to such understanding, this paper classifies the dynamic evolution of Long March spirits into four stages each of which is featured with different emphasis. The transition between the stages is highlighted by the shift from revolutionary elements to political and construction elements; from political to economic and spiritual culture; from unidimensional to dimensional;from collectiveness to individuality; from political education to militated political colors. In the dynamic evolution of Long March spirits, there are problems like negligence of reflection on " Long March" , preference of internal structure of the spirits over external surroundings and the emphasis on forms over contents. The development of Long March spirits as practical philosophy will evolve from description of ideals to description of realities, from the analysis of goals to analysis of process, from principal argument to practical argument, from single source to multiple sources, and from derivation to innovation. Exploration of the dynamic evolution helps us find out the human spirits dynamics and values and enhance our national cultural awareness and confidence in this new historical context.
