Abstract:The Liberal Princes became the third political force in the early modernization stage of Saudi Arabia.They are the significant motivator of the historic change of Saudi Arabia from the traditional monarchy to “authoritarian models of de-velopment”.The Liberal Princes movement rooted in the change of economic -social order of Saudi Arabia in the Oil Era.It is the first time in the history of Saudi Arabia to propose the constitutional democracy,some other modern political philoso-phy,and try to put them into practice.It became the source of constitutional history of Saudi Arabia.It had a significance of enlightenment to the political modernization of Saudi Arabia,and indicated the direction of political modernization of Saudi Arabia.
