Inheritance and Utilization of Tea-Making Techniques from the Perspective of Agricultural Cultural Heritage

Abstract:China is home to tea, with time-honored tea-making techniques and different types of tea (green tea, black tea, dark tea, etc.), boasting diverse traditional tea-making techniques. The tea cultural heritage occupies a large part in China's agricultural cultural heritage list. As the technical agricultural cultural heritage, traditional tea-making techniques have been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list. The inheritance and utilization of tea-making techniques are of great significance for the economic and social development of tea cultural heritage sites and to the continuation of traditional culture. From the perspective of agricultural cultural heritage, the value of the inheritance and utilization of tea-making techniques is mainly reflected in three aspects of economy, culture and history. Economic value is expressed in the development of the tea economy and industry, and cultural value includes the inheritance and promotion of tea culture and traditional culture. Historical values are reflected in the inheritance, utilization and innovation of history. This paper analyzes the main problems existing in the present tea-making technology inheritance and protection, and draws on the experience of successful cases, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the inheritance and utilization of tea making techniques.
