Abstract:Knowledge has some characteristics of tacitness,which limits the spatial distance of knowledge spillover.Only with the geographical agglomeration resulting in the proximity effect of information share,can enterprises enhance their absorptive ability of spill-out knowledge as much as possible.Cluster environment accelerates the inter-firm knowledge spillover,helping the in-group enterprises' decrease their cost to get spill-out knowledge and reduce their cost and uncertainty to acquire innovation resource.Taking into account economic externalities,it improves the general knowledge production function and analyzes the Chinese provincial data with the space computation model.The results validate the inherent mechanism of enterprises RD aggregation.
