Study of Enterprise Cloud Computing Service Adoption

Abstract:As a super-computing model,cloud computing provides IT capability to customers as service,it is very important to enhance the IT capabilities of enterprises in China.The growth and success of cloud computing service depends on the adoption by enterprises.This paper investigates Chinese companies' adoption of cloud computing service based on technology-organization-environment model.The findings indicate that cloud computing adoption is determined by companies' management motivation,IT resources,size,age and industry.It is also influenced by the external forces,including normative,coercive and mimetic forces.
