Abstract:Technological learning is central to innovation capability building.There is little analysis of how firms in China to learn technology.It is therefore useful to have the literature review to examine previous studies.The most revealing studies in China tend to examine industry-level processes of technological learning,rather than firm-level strategies and methods.Access to external technology and competitive surrounding environment is assumed to be essential for corporate learning and inno-vation.Regarding mechanisms of technological learning,imitation and OEMs have several disadvan-tages,however,it would be wrong to understate the importance of these mechanisms.
