Valuation of Wetland Ecosystem Services and Analysis of Ecological Economics of Anhui Province

Abstract:Based on the second investigation data of Anhui province,wetland ecosystem services of Anhui province were evaluated using value transfer method and the ecological and economic harmony(EEH)were measured from 2003 to 2014 of Anhui province. The results showed that,the total economic values of Anhui province was 7550.57×108 RMB, accounting for 36.22% of GDP of the same year,indicating a rich wetland ecosystem services of Anhui province. Anhui province as a whole is in a harmony condition between wetland ecosystem and economic development from 2003 to 2014. TheEEH of Wanzhong and Wanjiang economic zones were 0.97 and 1.15 separately from 2003 to 2008, then decreased into 0.77 and 0.78 from 2008 to 2014, implying that the ecological economy of these two economic zones were facing risk and the ecological environmental were worsening. Anhui should pay more attention to strength wetland resources development while Wanzhong and Wanjiang economic zones should pay more consideration to the protection and restoration of wetland resources, to realize sustainable development of economy and ecology in Anhui province by adjusting measures to local conditions.
