The causes of town expansion in Zhejiang province

Abstract:Based on the inquiries to the existing towns in Zhejiang province, this paper analyses the dif erent scales of traditional and modern towns,which attribute to the change in administrative functions and transportation systems. And then a discussion of the appropriate scale of these towns is conducted.
