Abstract:In the booming development of China's digital economy, the privacy and security issues of personal data in website applications are vital important. Websites need to implement basic personal information protection measures according to China's existing statutory requirements for privacy protection, such as disclosing personal information protection policies. However, there still is possibility to leak personal information although the sites adopt the self-regulation way. In this study, we first propose the measurement study of popular websites in China combining strategy analysis and web verification, in hope of providing countermeasures for the development of the personal information protection legal system in China. The study is achieved by analysing a collection of 199,060 network behaviours from 663 websites spanning half a year, studying the consistency between behaviour and policy in websites and conducting a systematic analysis of the privacy policies disclosed on all websites. The findings are multi-fold, 67.6% of popular websites in China have publicly disclosed their privacy policies and all compliance requirements have reached more than 60%, while less than 5% of websites have clearly disclosed and strictly followed the policy statement on third-party sharing and cookie retention. Overall, we conclude that the website has a moderate level of transparency under the existing legal conditions, but there is still a lack of functional and usable mechanisms and regulations for users to consent to or deny processing of their personal data on the Internet. To this end, we analyse the measurement results and put forward appropriate recommendations for the website owners, legal institutions and regulatory authorities. (C) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. Abstract:The purpose of this essay is to investigate the privacy concerns of Chinese, and to develop relevant protective measures. The groups are divided into two parts by gender and six parts by ages to analyze the different gender and different age groups of privacy concerns. The significance of this study is protecting personal data property. The data of personal information after finishing processing have economic value. These data once disclosed, will be not reversible, so it is important to study the personal privacy in the era of big data and to initiate and enforce legal and regulatory protection measures. Results show that Chinese’s privacy in public places for Internet records, friends dynamic and age’s awareness is insufficient; most people especially female lack privacy protection skills. Educators need to improve the relevant laws and regulations, promote privacy protection skills and strengthen the conception of privacy.

Abstract:Abstract The company's data leakage has always been a very serious problem. Many of the leaked data is the user's personal privacy data, which will bring a lot of trouble to users. In order to improve the security of the storage and use of personal private information in the database, two methods of lightweight private information encryption and social engineering anonymization are proposed to protect database information. We compare the proposed method with the application layer encryption and pre encryption methods. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively protect the user's personal privacy data, and can detect and recover the privacy data when managers need it. The storage efficiency of the three methods is close. Therefore, it has good application value in privacy protection.

Abstract:With the rapid development of sensor acquisition technology, more and more data are collected, analyzed, and encapsulated into application services. However, most of applications are developed by untrusted third parties. Therefore, it has become an urgent problem to protect users’ privacy in data publication. Since the attacker may identify the user based on the combination of user’s quasi-identifiers and the fewer quasi-identifier fields result in a lower probability of privacy leaks, therefore, in this paper, we aim to investigate an optimal number of quasi-identifier fields under the constraint of trade-offs between service quality and privacy protection. We first propose modelling the service development process as a cooperative game between the data owner and consumers and employing the Stackelberg game model to determine the number of quasi-identifiers that are published to the data development organization. We then propose a way to identify when the new data should be learned, as well, a way to update the parameters involved in the model, so that the new strategy on quasi-identifier fields can be delivered. The experiment first analyses the validity of our proposed model and then compares it with the traditional privacy protection approach, and the experiment shows that the data loss of our model is less than that of the traditional k-anonymity especially when strong privacy protection is applied.

To improve Chinese citizens’ quality of big data application is also an inevitable internal requirement for the social and economic development of various countries and regions in the era of big data economy. In the era of big data development, the security leakage of personal information has become more and more serious, which has aroused people’s high attention and increasing concern. The purpose of this paper is to provide countermeasures and Suggestions for the reasonable protection of personal information by deeply analyzing the practical dilemma and solutions of the reasonable protection of personal information in the era of big data. In this paper, first of all, this paper expounds the dialectical nature of the current era of big data network information search on the personal information security in our country the major risks and opportunities for development, and the in-depth analysis of the current our country network information search security risk main origin, on the basis of focus from legal ideological cultivation, inspection du regulatory legislation, application technology and so on three aspects put forward to speed up the building of the personal information security management system in our country strategic thinking. And then comb through studying related literature review of network information security evaluation index system, using the evaluation index system of comprehensive level calculation analysis method for network actual weight of each evaluation index in the relationship between level computation, the result shows that composite reliability were greater than 0.7, which eventually concluded that a more reasonable and practical index system of network weight calculation.

Abstract:The development of big data technology has brought great impact and changes to social governance, and poses a great threat to personal privacy security, but it also effectively promotes the intellectualization of lifestyle, personalized service and scientific decision-making. At present, due to the imperfect legal system, the non-standard management of practitioners, and the weak awareness of personal privacy protection, cases of information security infringement occur from time to time. This paper analyzes the existing problems in the field of privacy protection and the reasons for privacy disclosure in the era of big data, and summarizes the important enlightenment of foreign privacy protection experience to the protection of privacy rights of Chinese citizens at this stage by drawing lessons from the successful practical experience of American industry self-regulation model, European Union legislative protection model and British technology control model. This paper puts forward specific measures to establish and improve the protection mechanism of citizens' privacy in the era of big data in China, that is, to strengthen legislative supervision and system formulation, to protect personal privacy through data desensitization, data encryption, data access control and data security audit technology; Improve the awareness and ability of personal privacy protection and other governance methods.

Abstract:Motivation: With the enhancement of people's awareness of the protection of personal privacy information, how to provide better services on the premise of protecting users' privacy has become an urgent problem to be solved. Therefore, it is a necessary motivation to build a network intelligent platform for privacy protection and integrated big data mining. Objective: In view of the existing network platform of data privacy leakage, low efficiency of data mining and user satisfaction is not high, this paper will adopt advanced privacy technology, to ensure the confidentiality of users' personal information and security, to enhance the user trust and use experience, to better meet the needs of users. Methods: In order to better protect the privacy of users, the network intelligent platform should adopt more advanced privacy protection technology. This paper uses the differential privacy algorithm to reduce the risk of data leakage and abuse, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis and mining. In the design of the platform, the performance of the platform is fully taken into account to realize the secure storage and efficient processing of data, with good scalability and flexibility to meet the growing user needs and business needs. The performance of the network intelligent platform is also analyzed by experimental simulation. Result: The experimental results of this article indicated that in a network intelligent platform based on privacy protection and integrated big data mining, its data transmission encryption score was 9.5; the data storage encryption score was 9.8; the score of access control mechanism was 9.3; the privacy protection score was 9.6; the response time was 80 ms; the processing speed was 121GB/h; the user satisfaction rating was 6.6. Conclusion: This indicated that the network intelligent platform had good platform performance and user friendliness while ensuring data security and privacy protection. It could efficiently conduct data mining and ensure data security and privacy.

Abstract:Users have renewed interest in protecting their private data in the digital space. When they don't believe that their privacy is sufficiently covered by one platform, they will readily switch to another. Such an increasing level of privacy awareness has made privacy preservation an essential research topic. Nevertheless, new privacy attacks are emerging day by day. Therefore, a holistic survey to compare the discovered techniques on attacks over privacy preservation and their mitigation schemes is essential in the literature. We develop a study to fill this gap by assessing the resilience of privacy-preserving methods to various attacks and conducting a comprehensive review of countermeasures from a broader perspective. First, we introduce the fundamental concepts and critical components of privacy attacks. Second, we comprehensively cover major privacy attacks targeted at anonymous data, statistical aggregate data, and privacy-preserving models. We also summarize popular countermeasures to mitigate these attacks. Finally, some promising future research directions and related issues in the privacy community are envisaged. We believe this survey will successfully shed some light on privacy research and encourage researchers to entirely understand the resilience of different existing privacy-preserving approaches.

Abstract:The growth of e-commerce and other platforms has significantly increased the amount of personal data that is shared and submitted online; however, the adequate and secure collection and processing of these data is of great concern. With the EU’s implementation of a new data protection regulation in 2018, the development of personal data protection globally has reached an important turning point and has sparked the interest of scholars and businesses. Text coding was employed to compare the current personal data protection regulation landscape in the EU and in China to discover the differences between the General Data Protection Regulation and the personal data protection regulations of the fastest-growing economy in e-commerce. The results show that while there are several similarities in regard to general requirements, such as principles of data processing and basic rights for data subjects, China’s personal data protection regulations tend to lack specific operational requirements and strong legal enforcement. Based on the research results, implications and recommendations for the government and companies are provided.
