Research on International Standards for Microgrid Planning and Design

Abstract:Microgrid technology is gaining wide attention internationally. With the development of microgrid technology, the appropriate standards are needed to provide support. In recent years, major international standardization organizations such as IEEE and IEC have made great efforts and established a series of working groups in guiding the development of microgrid standards. This paper introduces the current status and development of international standards related to microgrid and focuses on the IEC activities in microgrid standardization, so as to provide reference to Chinese standardization work.
