On the Evaluating Standard for the Implementations of Web-Based Courses in Higher Education

Abstract:This article proposes a standard for evaluating the implementations of web - based courses. The standard includes fifteen items falling into four basie dimensions: learning resources, instructors, learning and teaching processes, and quality monitoring. This standard can be used to help the quality assurance and evaluation of web-based courses.
