Abstract:Mechanical engineering and agricultural engineering play an important role for talents' cultivation in high level agricultural university.The virtual simulation technology in professional teaching activities will become effective supplements for traditional courses and experiments.This paper describes the development and progress of mechanical and agricultural engineering virtual simulation experimental teaching center in China Agricultural University (CAU).The center has developed three virtual simulation teaching platforms, including course experiment platform, integrated innovation platform, and practical training platform.To achieve the objective of wide beneficial range, strong innovation, high efficiency management, outstanding demonstrating, the developed center accomplishes the task of combination between experimental teaching and theoretical teaching, innovative design, scientific research, practical training.Finally the progress of virtual simulation teaching resource development is introduced.
