Analysis on present situation of laboratory development in regional colleges and universities

Abstract:Laboratory construction is one of the important jobs for the university development.Taking Hubei province as an example,this paper analyzes the basic information data about university laboratories submitted to the Ministry of Education from 2010 to 201 5.From the three aspects that are the construction of laboratory space,experimental technician team,and experimental instruments and equipment during the “Twelfth-five Year Plan”,an objective assessment was carried out in Hubei universities.On this basis,the development trend for the university laboratories is discussed from the three viewpoints of “Integrating laboratory space resources and improving equipment efficiency,” “Making an inventory of the stock of equipment and sharing the resources,”and “Deepening the reform of technician team and strengthening their supporting ability.”
