Abstract:Mechanical Education Alliance of Excellent Engineers was established on August 2016 aiming at integrating and sharing resources among universities, schools and enterprises to promote coordinated development, which is comprised of nearly 200 undergraduate majors of more than 100 universities and over 80 well-known enterprises and industry associations in the field of mechanical engineering.With the help of the close cooperation between schools and enterprises within the industry education alliances, the goal of training innovative mechanical elites was collaboratively developed, and the talent training mode of strengthening innovation and engineering practice ability was explored.Under this mode, three goals were mainly achieved, which are curricula and its engineering syncretic typical courses where innovative training and engineering practice run through the whole university semesters, practice base in and off campus under the production-teaching-research concept, and standardized undergraduate thesis management and supervised mode.The training mode of mechanical elite is being promoted to the universities and enterprises in the alliance so as to promote the integration and sharing of resources in universities, industries and enterprises and boost the synchronization of engineering innovation talent training and industrial development.
