Abstract:In order to explore and establish scientific and diversified evaluation methods,we introduced a research-oriented teaching and evaluation system,i.e.exam exemption for excellent students,which has been proposed for the Microcomputer Principle and Interface Technique course as students have different academic performance.This new evaluation system is a departure from traditional simplex examination methods and a breakthrough for evaluation methods.It establishes a diversified assessment method which centers around project learning and encourages initiative.Besides,it promotes the teaching style which focuses upon principles and aims at the application of knowledge.This new evaluation reform has been implemented over the past several years and proved successful.It not only improves students' learning enthusiasm and initiative,but also gives full play to the potential and creativity of outstanding students.

Abstract:According to the actual demands of the electronic technology and industry development,we have analyzed,updated and reorganized the content of the courses on the Circuit Principle Experiments and the Analog Circuit Experiments. A new experimental course: the Fundamentals of Electronic Circuit Experiments has formed. In the guarantee of the basic experimental skill training,the new curriculum has increased the component of comprehensive innovation design experiments,hence the students' awareness of innovation,design ability and engineering practice ability have been trained and raised. This paper described the teaching content organization and design,teaching practice and effectiveness of the Fundamentals of Electronic Circuit Experiments.

Abstract:Fairness and science is the fundamental value of college entrance examination, and it’s also the two wings to sustainable development for college entrance examination, the two are indispensable. But the reform of college entrance examination in order to“Fairness first”or“scientific priority”, there are some contradictions in the theory and practice, from the historical experience, it often depends on the country’s political, economic, social and regional education development situation in reality. Abstract:"Soil Mechanics" is a degree course in Zhejiang University City College of Civil Engineering. The teaching group of this course has thought and practiced the reforms in teacher-student interaction, attendance innovation, materials selection, layout of the homework and the form of practice teaching. Simplifying the derivation of calculation formulas and strengthening the experiment and practice which can develop the students' manipulative ability and innovative spirit. Interacting with students which can make them learn more about the teacher and this course. At the same time, teachers can understand better about the students' thinking, then adapt and improve each other. The reform of teaching material selection and arrangement of work which make students have more examples to refer. The free choice in after-school subject which allow students to sum up the knowledge points and that would enable the consolidation of classroom teaching. At the same time, by consulting reference books, students will find the knowledge points which the teacher did not emphasized.

Abstract:This paper discussed the teaching reform and innovation of the material mechanics, points out that the focuses of the reform are to carry out reform and innovation to the curriculum system and teaching contents to train the ability of the students to analyze the question and master learning method, reform teaching methods, reform test methods and form means at the same time, and close both closely to adapt to the needs of social development and training modernization talents. Developed a teaching method named "Life scenes approach", it is a kind of interactive teaching method, in which, carry out equal dialogue and discussion between the teachers and students. Used academic site as the medium of teaching course, the teachers could discuss with the students by network teaching method. Advocate memory methods to formula type and contrast type such as formula type, the shape centroid position of all kinds of graphics and so on. Developed multimedia software of teaching material mechanics that is suitable for our school teaching characteristics. Through the teaching reforming, we have received some significant effects, after reform, pass rate of the exam is 94.3%, before the reform, it is 86.5%.

Abstract:The comprehensive experiments are a crucial component in cultivating the engineering practice skills and technological innovation capabilities of students, which play a significant role in training innovative application-oriented talents with the ability to solve complicated engineering problems. To address the current challenges encountered in the teaching of comprehensive experiments in the Materials Forming and Control Engineering major, Qilu University of Technology has systematically undertaken reforms and practices in the teaching system of these comprehensive experiments. This paper mainly introduces the teaching reforms in the comprehensive experiments of Materials Forming and Control Engineering from the perspectives of course design, teaching resources, teaching team development and evaluation systems. The results of the practical teaching demonstrate a substantial improvement in practical innovation abilities and scientific competitive awards of students.

Abstract:Objective To aim at the deficiencies of existing assessment methods,and put forward ideas,methods and contents to reform experimental course assessment methods for undergraduates.Methods All of the fifth-grade preventive medicine undergraduates were divided into experimental group (n=34) and control group(n=31),reformed and conventional assessment methods were used in experimental group and control group respectively.The difference in attendance,experimental skill and reports were compared between two groups.Results Attendance,test scores and experimental skill scores of students in experimental group were significantly higher than that in control group and compared with the control group students (P＜0,05),the experimental group students' understanding on the experimental principle,phenomena and data analysis were better.Conclusion Reformed assessment methods of experimental course has an improved effect on teaching for undergraduates.

Abstract:Here the early developing process of the syllabus building and textbook editing of engineering materials in China has been introduced, together with the recent progress of the course building under the condition of reducing class hours for the national excellent course of engineering materials in Tsinghua university. In order to meet the requirement of reducing class hours without reducing the teaching quality from the university, we have strengthened the teaching on the key topics of the course, improved the teaching through website,strengthened the experimental training and innovation activity, reformed the examination, and so on. As a result, good teaching quality of the course has been achieved.

Abstract:In view of the scattered experimental projects in practical courses of civil engineering materials, the poor practical ability of students and the disconnection between practical teaching and theoretical teaching, this paper proposes a practical teaching procedure. Firstly, the single experiment should be offered which emphasizes on improving the students' basic experimental operating ability. Secondly, the compressive experiment is offered and the overall quality of students can be examined in the form of project team. In order to investigate the effect of teaching reform, the comparative analysis of the students of three grades (2014, 2015 and 2016) majored in civil engineering was conducted. The result shows that the students' ability of experimental operation is obviously improved by using the project driven method-based teaching reform. Besides, the students' ability to analyse and solve problems has also been improved.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the course teaching system reform for numerical methods for engineering with new engineering feature. The course of numerical methods for engineering has strong theoretical knowledge, complicated experiments and calculation, which is difficult to active the students' attention. Thus the existing curriculum system should be reformed. Take the course of numerical methods for engineering in Light industrial mechanics department for example. Firstly, based on the teaching idea, strengthen the process of the students in school education. Introduce interaction between students and teachers; promote initiative of students, continuous improvement to achieve leapfrogging. Secondly, improve the teaching methods and means. Breaks the traditional teaching mode and emphasizes students' participation consciousness. Put the students in the central position of classroom teaching and fundamentally change the students' class status. Then, design the teaching content, the course can be divided into several modules to give lectures and arrange discussion between students and teachers. Fourthly, modularize method and continuous improvement is applied in our teaching thoroughly, and guide the students to participate in teaching processing actively. Finally, establish a perfect assessment way, sum up experience timely, and constantly revise and improve our reform. With these, a good start can be made for the reform for numerical methods for engineering in new engineering education.
