Abstract:To focus on the analysis of China curling team's competition performance at 24(th) World Winter Universiade as well as the competition itself, the authors will look for the problems of China Curling Team in the competition, analyze the problems, and find out the effective solutions. The article uses the methods of literature consultation, contrast, site observation and mathematical statistics, in order to analyze the competition of China Men and Women Curling Team at 24(th) World Winter Universiade. Result: Through the analysis of the competition of China Women Curling Team at 24(th) World Winter Universiade, the authors find out China Women Curling Team has the problems of lacking reserve curlers less ability of psychological adjustment for handling emergency, poor team cohesion, and unreasonable use of techniques and tactics and so on. Hence, it point out the effective solutions, such as strengthening the reserve curlers, improving the abilities of teamwork and using the techniques and tactics properly, in order to overcome the disadvantages of China Women Curling Team. Meanwhile, the paper also indicates that China Men Curling Team need to improve the whole team skills, especially the skips' technical level, which is the most important, as well as to enhance the communication and competitions with world-class teams, strengthen the content of the training of dealing with the complex situations, especially to strengthen the training of the technical and tactical for the skips. As a reference for improving the training and skill level for China Curling Teams, the objective of this paper is to increase the medals possibility of China Curling Teams at Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
