Operation risk management of large sports venues from the Youth Olympic Games

Abstract:This paper has summarized the successful experience in risk identification, evaluation and response under venue operation mode of Nanjing Youth Olympic Games.The organization model has transformed from vertical management to unit management that takes each venue as a unit.Risks increased as the venue operation content changed.By taking the operation risk of large -scale sports venues as the research object,the authors first established risk evaluation index system and evaluation rules through risk identification;next,risk assessment was conducted by taking Nanjing Youth Olympic Games as an example;finally,risk response and control measures were put forward for large sports venues to achieve the goal of risk management.
