Abstract:As the conductor of students and a person engaged in scientific research, college teachers’ academic behavior will have an impact on students, schools and society. Once the teachers have academic misconduct, it will seriously affect the reputation and social credibility of universities and teachers, and will undermine the healthy development of the academic circle and cause terrible social impact. The severe situation of academic misconduct in colleges and universities has led to an in-depth study of this behavior. This paper studies the harmfulness and causes of academic misconduct, exploring the preventive mechanism of academic misconduct in colleges and intending to provide reference for further clearing academic atmosphere.
