Research Progress on Cancer Cell/Targeting Peptides

Abstract:Cancer is the high incidence of the disease that still poses the greatest threat to human health and life in all human diseases because the method of early diagnosis and treatment is not available so far. The breakthrough of the early diagnosis and targeted therapy is a hopeful approach to improve the current cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the recent papers indicate that the specific and sensitive cancer targeting peptides shown significant potential for this purpose. The selection and characterization of cancer targeting peptides have elicited surprised advances in recent years, and this article attempts to summarize and forecast these advancements as the reference to the investigators in this scientific area.
