On Relation of Student Mobile Phone Application with Interpersonal Communication——Taking Fudan University Students as Example

Abstract:We have carried on the research on the role played by Mobile phone in student interpersonal communication by choosing Fudan University student as the study example, using questionnaire survey, and combining with conversation method. The research finds that the college students generally think that interpersonal communication is the principal and necessary function of the mobile phone and they tend to approve its positive effect. However, from its practical habit we know that mobile phone can not help to enlarge the friends circle: whether it can promote interpersonal communication or not depend on whether people can acquire interpersonal resources or not: mobile phone can not completely realize the scene of interpersonal communication so that it can not replace the traditional face to face communication.
