On Improvement of the Provincial Computer Examination System

Abstract:Sichuan Provincial Comp u ter's Level Examination for non-computer major is an examination, which is propo sed by Sichuan Provincial Level Examinat ion Committee, for universities and coll eges in. Sichuan. There are exams twice a year. About one hundred thousand stude nts are going to attend once.Only in Apr il,2003, there are five thousand student s in the Sichuan Normal University atten ding the examination. About 81% has pass ed it. But from the view of student's ac tual ability,som students are not famili ar with the operation of computer. In or der to enhance the student's ability and to have students pay more attention to the operation, having research on the ex amination system,we put forward some imp rovement on the computer examination sys t em. Reducing the number of objective exe rcises and adding exercises about the op eration, it will benefit students' abili ty and can improve the students' compreh ensive diathesis and operation ability.
