Influence of Personality Traits and Social Communication Quality on College Students‘Internet Dependence Behavior

Abstract:This study explores the influence of personality traits on college students‘ Internet De-pendence Behavior. A questionnaire survey was conducted of 120 college students, and the results were as follows. There are some students in college becoming Internet-Dependence users. And there are some sig-nificant differences in the demographic variable to college students. The following factors in Big Five per-sonality traits, such as neuroticism has remarkable positive predictable function on Internet Dependence;Openness and conscientiousness have remarkable passive predictable function. Social condition also has remarkable passive predictable function on Internet Dependence;Taking social condition as an intermedi-ate variable, conscientiousness has an indirect influence on Internet Dependence.
