Studies on Variation of Anatomical Properties of the Clones of Eucalyptus Grandis Within a Tree and among Trees

Abstract:There were differences or great differences or no differences in within-tree anatomical indexes along radial direction to some extent, except for variation of tissue measurements within trees in the same clones being no rules, and there were excellent regularities among the other anatomical values. In these indexes, except for microfibrilla angle, ratio of the lumen to cell diameter and pores numbers in the unt area decreasing gradually from pith outward, the other anatomical indexes increased gradually from pith outward, and there were no obvious differences in wood anatomical properties among trees within clones. And variation^s tendency among trees within clones was as the same as the one within trees, but there was a certain variation in radial variation of different individual within clones.
