Analysis and Improvement of Teaching Molecular Plant Pathology Practical Course to Plant Protection Undergraduates

Abstract:Experimental course is an important part of molecular plant pathology course to plant protection undergraduate students .Surveys in some universities in China have showed that not much attention has been paid to practices of the course ,and some significant problems w hich existed included lacking of a practical course book ,incompleteness of course contents ,deficiency of lab equipment ,and incompatible in‐tellectual technicians .In view of problems on the experimental teaching of molecular plant pathology , some tactics and measures are brought about in the present paper .these include :(1) establishing course contents and w riting a usable practical course book ;(2) improving teaching conditions ;(3) studying and using appropriate teaching methods ;and (4) to train qualified technicians for the course .These measures will greatly increase the interest of students in learning molecular plant pathology and thus improve quality of the course teaching .
