Abstract:On the basis of the filed investigation and literature review ,the species ,original places and dam‐age grades of invasive alien plants in Beibei District of Chongqing have generally been studied ,and some suggestions to control these alien invasive plants have also been given in this paper .T he results show that there are 45 species of invasive plants w hich belonged to 20 families .T he most abundant family is Compos‐ite involving 11 species ;there are 37 species of herbs ;29 species from America ;A lternanthera philoxe‐roides ,Conyzacanadnsis and Anrederacordifolia is most serious harm ;Xiema damage degree is most se‐rious ,there are 33 kinds of invasive plant species .
