Two Solutions for Eddy Current Problems of Rectangular Lamina

Abstract:A series solution is adopted to express the eddy current density of rectangular lamina under transverse sinusoidal magnetic field, and the wavelet-Galerkin method is also given for the same problem. Compared with variational method, the numerical results indicate that the two methods not only have computational precision improved, but also reduce the computational memory and time largely. Two simple and effective solutions are provided for the calculation of eddy current in the project.
