Abstract:It is without question that Traditional Chinese Medicine is a bright pearl of the world medicine while it is also faced with the danger of disappearance. Now, in all kinds of hospitals including hospitals of TCM, model medical instrarnents are used for diagnosis in place of TCM. So, the study of the objectivity of TCM is very important and urgent. With a view ua objectivity of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we have developed a hardware and software system that can sample data, display waves, make analyses, print reports and halp function. The hardware contains a pressure sensor, a pulse amplifier, a Windows-based A/D board and a computer system. The sample program that is windows-based has some virtue of handy operation and reliable result. The display program can show pulse waves that can scroll, magnify, shorten, measure and so on while it can show the database information of each person. The analysis program includes two sides of time and frequency domain. The help function will help users to operate the system rightly. This foundation will have some value to people who deal with pulse research and diagnosis. On the basis of traditional pulse analysis, we first identified pulse between normal women and pregnant women with a frequency parameter named phase transfer. We found that they all exceed by 30 degrees for pregnant women while under 30 degrees for normal women. At the same time, we found that every object has a certain extent of variety because of individual difference and the identification of normal and pregnant women lies on two sides of phase transfer and phase angle of one Hz. So we further bring out a new parameter. We called it phase variation character. Its formula is: phase variation character=0.5*(120+phase angle of one Hz)+0.5*phase transfer. 0.5 regarded as coefficient of phase angle of one Hz and phase transfer. We found that phase variation character is more advantageous than phase transfer. In the light of statistic, we process t-test to two swatches of normal and pregnant women. The P value (P<0.01) we got is proved to have a protninent meaning. Thereby, pregnant pulse diagnosing with modern information science has proved to ha scientific. The profound mystery of Traditional Chinese Medicine is end less. This study is only regarded as a steppingstone to further research. We will go deep into the objectivity of basal theory of TCM from this good haginning with a new method.
