Abstract:Since 1980's, all the developed countries have built up national computer network of education and scientific network, which have been the most important infrastructure of education and scientific research in these countries and facilitate their development. China began to invest in building Cernet (China Education and Research Network) since 1994.Many colleges and universities have set up their own campus network. Liaocheng University set up their own campus network in 1997. In order to ensure high availability, high stability and high security of campus network, network information center staff conducted a lot of practice to explore, finally we find some way for Liaocheng University.

Abstract:In the Age of Information, network education pays more attention to the application of IT technology and the training of talents, which makes learning more of customization and of opening up. In order to better enable learners to go beyond the limitations of space and time to acquire knowledge; in order to provide excellent learning environment for greater freedom and greater choice of learning activities space, the project to building campus network has become the basis of all university building work. It is directly related to the quality and level of their teaching and scientific research work. The campus network has a number of tasks such as teaching, research, management and communication with the outside. Therefore, the issue of network security has become a priority to campus network management. Obviously, the current Internet is convenient but at the same time it is unsafe. As part of the Internet and the unique attributes of campus network, it is more easily attacked when enjoying the service provided by the Internet. This paper starts from the current security status of the campus network, analyzing threatens to campus network security and strategies to maintenance of network security, so as to establish a suitable campus network security system, and introduce some current popular campus network information security solutions.

Abstract:Abstract The campus network is a large branch of various types of networks and has a wide range of applications. As the birthplace of new technology, in schools, especially universities, it is very closely connected to the Internet. The Internet was first successfully tested on campus. School Net guides computers into education, scientific research, management, and other areas, providing advanced computers and Internet applications for faculty and students. Due to a series of issues such as the campus network investment funds, network technology and management, the specific implementation of each campus network construction needs to be carefully investigated and analyzed. The purpose of this article is to explore the design and planning of college campus networks. In this article, we mainly propose the application of radio coverage and analyze the distance between the equipment and the bridge. The coverage of indoor wireless network determines the number and points of APs, and there are 80 laptops with AP access restrictions. When the number of portable computers is 20-30, the operating state of the entire workstation is optimal. Usually in the range of 35-110 m. Wireless network coverage in outdoor areas uses overlapping wireless coverage schemes to establish multiple wireless coverage base stations, thereby achieving wireless coverage throughout the campus. In terms of experiments, student dormitories, teaching buildings, playgrounds, and libraries will carry out signal and ping packet experiments.

Abstract:China Education and Research Network (CERNET) is the largest academic Internet backbone in China and one of the largest in the world. This paper will introduce the current CERNET infrastructure as well as the CERNET’s next generation plan. CERNET has more than 20,000KM dark fibers and operates its own DWDM transport network. Currently it is a 40Gbps system, providing 2.5Gbps router-to-router connectivity for the 8 CERNET GigaPops and reaches all the provincial capitals via a 155Mbps-2.5Gbps backbone. It connects more than 1200 universities and research institutions. Most connected university campus networks are 1Gbps based. The number of end users is about 12 Million. The traffic statistics will be analyzed in this paper and the future bandwidth demand will be estimated. CERNET is also evolving to the next generation Internet. It connects to Internet2 and other next generation academic experimental Internet backbones worldwide. The goals of next generation CERNET are to provide a high-speed backbone network and to offer services to meet the demands of advanced research applications. The challenges are to provide scalable, high speed, high quality network services to all the universities and schools in China and their total 320M students and pupils. The current and future plans of CERNET will also be discussed in this paper, including the nationwide DWDM system, the CWDM MAN and campus network, the unified network management system, the lambda on demand service, the IPv6 service, the multicast service, the wireless services/large scale roaming service and large scale video service.

Abstract:With the rapid development of computer network, the construction of campus network is the inevitable choice of the development of information network. The campus network system is a very large and complicated system. It is not only for modern teaching, integrated information management and oﬃce automation series of applications to provide basic operating platform, but also to provide a variety of application services, so that information can be timely and accurate delivery. The campus network construction in the application of network technology is the important branch of LAN technology to build and management. This paper introduces the goal of campus network design and the selection of network technology, network equipment selection and so on, and gives the concrete network topology diagram through the example of the campus network design and construction process. The study also explains how to plan the formation of campus network eﬃciently and safely.

Abstract:The global Internet has now become an ever so powerful information carrier in many countries. However, only very few regional networks in China are connected to the Internet. To change this situation, the China Education and Research Network (CERNET) project has been established. CERNET consists of a nation-wide backbone which is connected to the global Internet, eight regional networks and more than 1,000 campus networks. Due to the huge population in China, CERNET will dramatically increase the number of users in the Internet community. In this paper, the plan and implementation of CERNET will be discussed. The overall objective of the CERNET project is to build Internet in China to satisfy the current users and to cater for the development in the coming century.

Abstract:The network security situation of campus networks on CERNET (China Education and Research Network) has received great concern. However, most network managers have no complete picture of the network security because of its special management and the rapid growth of network assets. In this investigation, the security of campus networks belonging to seven universities in Wuhan was investigated. A tool called “WebHunt” was designed for campus networks, and with its help, the network security risks were found. Differently from existing tools for network probing, WebHunt can adopt the network scale and special rules of the campus network. According to the characteristics of campus websites, a series of functions were integrated into WebHunt, including reverse resolution of domain names, active network detection and fingerprint identification for software assets. Besides, WebHunt builds its vulnerability intelligence database with a knowledge graph structure and locates the vulnerabilities through matching knowledge graph information. Security assessments of seven universities presents WebHunt’s applicability for campus networks. Besides, it also shows that many security risks are concealed in campus networks, such as non-compliance IP addresses and domain names, system vulnerabilities and so on. The security reports containing risks have been sent to the relevant universities, and positive feedback was received.

This text proceeds with current situation of development of campus network development from the status with the design of the campus network-building principles, requirements analysis,application classification,the campus network plan,exposition correlated with constructing and management respect has been done of comprehensive wiring in demand, have expounded the fact especially how we should make use of modern network equipment and network technology to construct a high-efficient and practical primary and secondary school networks. Through examples of the need to build further on the campus network in the "overall planning, step by step implementation" principle of one analysis, the positive side of the practice, to find a suitable path.

Abstract:With the rapid development of information technology, the construction of education informatization is urgent, and it is particularly important to promote the gradual development of colleges and universities towards digital transformation. Among them, the construction of smart campus has become an important means to enhance the level of education informatization and improve the quality of education and teaching. As an important part of the new generation of information technology, all-optical network has been widely used in the construction of smart campus. This paper first summarizes the existing network bottlenecks of traditional networks under the trend of digital campus transformation, including the problems of operation and maintenance management, network bandwidth, service expansion and weak current security, then introduces the necessity of all-optical network construction from the aspects of network bandwidth, stability and maintenance cost, and finally demonstrates the construction value of all-optical network through application scenarios. It provides a useful reference for the construction of smart campus all-optical network.

Abstract:As the infrastructure for the informationization of the university, campus network plays a pivotal role in the area of teaching, research, management and so on. To make the campus network more secure and stable, universities usually invest large sums of money to purchase a large number of security devices and software in order to deploy campus network. The security devices and software are mainly used to defend external attacks, ignoring the protection and control of internal network security. Abstract:Because of the petrifaction of the existing network, it is difficult to achieve the controllability, adaptability and expansibility in current structure. Simultaneously, in order to have better campus network services in teaching, researching and studying, a new structure based on reconfigurable architecture for campus network was designed based on service set handling capacity of various kinds of business in reconfigurable network as the central idea. After the evolution from tradition to flat structure, a more condensed structure was proposed by adopting virtualization technology on switches and routers. It has the advantages of high performance, high reliability, manageability and augmentability.
