Abstract:The Qinling orogenic belt is a complicated orogenic belt which was resulted from the superposition and transformation process from multiple stages of tectonic movements, among which the South Qinling belt is one essential constituent part. Two gabbroes in Lengshuigou and one gabbroic diorite in Nianpangou in this paper yield almost same U-Pb ages (~621 Ma),which represent the age of magma crystallization. The tDM ages of Lengshuigou gabbroes are 1.1 ~ 1.35 Ga,i.e.the protolith were formed in Mesoproterozoic. The depleted Hf-O isotopic feature (εHf(t) =-3.3 ~ + 5.3;δ18O =3.48 ~ 5.09) indicats the rock was formed by the partial melting of depleted mantle.Nianpangou gabbroic diorite has extremely depleted Hf-O isotopic feature (εHf(t) =5.8 ~ 11.1;δ18O =-3.72 ~-2.58),the negative δ18O value represents high temperature waterrock interaction. The results demonstrate those rocks were formed in a back-arc setting.Compared with the island arc magmatism in early Neoproterozoic (> 735 Ma),the result indicates a tectonic transformation occurred in the South Qinling belt from the island to back-arc environment.Three gabbroic rocks in this paper recorded the latest magmatic event in South Qinling orogenic belt, thus marking the end of the subduction-collision between the South Qinling belt and the northern margin of the Yangtze block, together with the final formation basement of the South Qinling belt.
