Anti-aging Effect of Phyllanthus emblica L . on Caenorhabditis elegans

Abstract:Based on the model of organism Caenorhabditis elegans ,we investigated mass concentration of Phyllanthus emblica L .extracts at 1.0 ,2.0 ,4.0 mg/mL on antioxidation of C .elegans . The experimental results show that 1.0 mg/mL P .emblica L .extract can significantly increase the spawning of C .elegans ,and there are no obvious effect on exercise capacity of C .elegans .The P .emblica L .extracts have low toxicity in the mass concentration range of experments .1.0 mg/mL P .emblica L .extract can significantly prolong the life of C .elegans ,and have a good protective effect on antioxidant pressure .1.0 mg/mL P .emblica L .extract can significantly improve the enzyme activity of C .elegans ,so as to achieve protective effect of antioxidant .
