Abstract:We considered the existence of solutions for a class of fractional Schr(o)dinger equations.Under the condition that nonlinear term satisfied nonquadratic growth,the existence of nontrivial solution was obtained by applying the variational methods.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the following fractional Schrödinger equations involving critical exponents: (−Δ)αu+V(x)u=k(x)f(u)+λ|u|2α∗−2uinRN, where (−Δ)α is the fractional Laplacian operator with α∈(0,1), N≥2, λ is a positive real parameter and 2α∗=2N/(N−2α) is the critical Sobolev exponent, V(x) and k(x) are positive and bounded functions satisfying some extra hypotheses. Based on the principle of concentration compactness in the fractional Sobolev space and the minimax arguments, we obtain the existence of a nontrivial radially symmetric weak solution for the above-mentioned equations without assuming the Ambrosetti–Rabinowitz condition on the subcritical nonlinearity.

Abstract:This paper, we study the multiplicity of solutions for the fractional Schrodinger equation (-Delta)(s)u + V( x) u = u(p), u > 0, x is an element of R-N, u is an element of H-s(R-N), with s is an element of(0,1), N >= 3, p is an element of(1, 2N/N-2s -1) and lim(|y|->+infinity)V(y)> 0. By assuming suitable decay property of the radial potential V(y) = V(|y|), we construct another type of solutions concentrating at infinite vertices of two similar equilateral polygonal with infinitely large length of sides. Hence, besides the length of each polygonal, we must consider one more parameter, that is the height of the podetium, simultaneously. Another difficulty lies in the non-local property of the operator (-Delta)(s) and the algebraic decay involving the approximation solutions make the estimates become more subtle.

Abstract:Nonlinear fractional difference equations are studied deeply and extensively by many scientists by using fixed-point theorems on different types of function spaces. In this study, we combine fixed-point theory with a set of falling fractional functions in a Banach space to prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions of a class of fractional difference equations. The most important part of this article is devoted to correcting a significant mistake made in the literature in using the power rule by providing further conditions for its validity. Also, we provide specific conditions under which difference equations have attractive solutions and the solutions are also asymptotically stable. Furthermore, we construct some fractional difference examples in order to illustrate the validity of the observed results.
