A Study on the Water Regime of Artificial Vegetation Astragalus adsurgens pall.cv. in Huangfuchuan Watershed

Abstract:The water regime study of Astragalus adsurgens pall.cv. in Huangfuchuan watershed was conducted in growing season of 1998 (Abundant Precipitation) and 1999 (Deficit Precipitation).The results confirmed the following conclusion. The daily change of transpiration rate of A. adsurgens pall.cv. has one peak .The seasonal change of its transpiration rate increased with soil water content and precipitation increasing. The mean value of transpiration rate in 1998 and 1999 is 2.114 g /(g·h) and 1.945 g /(g·h)respectively. The aboveground biomass and water consumption of A.adsurgens pall.cv. has similar steps.
