Abstract:Gemini surfactants are reputed as a new generation of surfactants. Two or more surfactants monomer are connected by spacer group through covalent bond. They have been widely used in industry because of a series of better properties. Introduction of its synthesis and applications in biological technology, anti-HIV, environmental protection and new materials is given.
